Silicon Pirates World Update: v0.5 Early Access Is Next

· 2 min read ·Games·Devlogs
The Silicon Pirates World Update trailer, 64 seconds: the live game first, then the current development build. The trailer is silent by design.

Silicon Pirates keeps growing. The upcoming World Update marks the next major stage of development, expanding the game beyond the homelab and into a much larger, connected world. It will also officially move Silicon Pirates out of Beta and into Early Access.

The next major update will bring us to v0.5, hopefully within the next week or two. There is no set timeline for reaching v1.0. It will get there when it is ready.

A huge thanks to everyone playing, submitting bug reports and sharing ideas. There literally would not be a game without the players, their time and their feedback.

What the trailer shows

The first forty seconds are Beta 3 as it runs today: the machine room and rack focus, cabling and painted devices, the workbench and a custom build, the grow room, the basement with its aquarium and vending machine, the RACK ATTACK cabinet, the markets, the repair shop and the manuals. After the card, every shot is tagged IN DEVELOPMENT and comes from the current development build: the new rooms, the battery wall and the POWER STATION, THE TOWN map of Port Silicon, and a visit to another lab as a hologram.

Beta 3 is free to play in your browser at sp.silicon-pirates.com. The trailer page, the roadmap and every manual are on silicon-pirates.com.
