At Declined Studios, I’ve been building a fully local AI voice assistant from scratch.
No Google, no Amazon, no third-party cloud, just my own hardware and some smart open tools: Python, FastAPI, and Piper TTS.
What does it do?
- Listens and responds in real-time
- Remembers facts about me, stored securely in my own database
- Speaks back using a local text-to-speech engine (still rough, but improving!)
Why build it?
Because I believe in private AI smart tools you control, not big corporations. And I want it to eventually handle daily tasks, remind me if I forget something, or even check in with a call or text.
What’s next?
✅ Sharper, more human-like speech
✅ Vision, face and object recognition
✅ Phone calls and text replies
✅ Automatic reminders and task handling
✅ A secure API so you can use this assistant too, without giving up your privacy
This system is raw right now, but every day I push it closer to a real-life Jarvis, made right here at Declined Studios.
